How to have an awesome steak experience.

So, over the last few weeks, we've been doing a whole lot of cooking steaks.... You may have seen us at one of your favorite locations sampling up our Premium Choice Certified Angus beef.

We've been really trying to get you all to try it and taste the difference...

But... the really cool thing was that I got to talking to alot of people, and it was surprising how many questions were asked about how to pick the right steak to grill.

Yellow

Last week Foodland was honored to do the floral arrangements for a Tour de France inspired awards dinner. Sunflower centerpieces in mason jars with raffia bows created a French countryside feel. Fashioned after Tour de France podium bouquets, honorees of the evening were presented with yellow rose bouquets with a collar of explosion grass and ti leaf finish.

Filet? Ribeye? Strip? T-Bone? What makes them different?

With the launch of our Certified Angus Beef Contest, I thought that it would be a great time to familiarize everyone with a few different cuts of steak. Hopefully, next time you’re at a steakhouse or checking out our meat department this will help you picking out a steak to your liking.
