It’s not easy for us to eat well rounded every day, but Organic Valley has made it effortless for us to receive the proper daily nutrition we need. We are excited about our recent launch of Organic Valley’s Omega-3 Milk in our Foodland, Foodland Farms, & Sack N Save stores. Now we can get our daily Omega-3’s in a glass of milk or with your morning cereal!
Maybe you don’t like fish or you have difficulty swallowing a large Omega-3 Fish Oil capsule. Fish should play a key role in a healthy diet and many of us aren’t eating enough to reap the benefits. Each 8-ounce serving of Organic Valley’s Omega-3 Milk contains 50 mg of DHA and EPA, plus at least 25 mg of ALA Omega-3s, which are naturally found in the milk of cows on pasture. Enjoying three delicious glasses adds 150 milligrams of EPA and DHA to our daily needs. Not only are you obtaining your Omega-3’s, but Milk is an excellent source of calcium, phosphorous, riboflavin, and a good source of protein - 8 grams of protein in one serving!
You might be thinking, “Is this milk going to taste fishy?” But honestly, you can’t even taste it! Organic Valley’s fish oil supplement is made using an innovative micro-encapsulation process. The fish oil is preserved as a micro-sized particle in a shell coating. This barrier eliminates the fish oil taste and odor and provides an extremely high nutritional density of Omega-3 fish oil. We definitely recommend not only drinking Omega-3 milk, but also using it for cooking and baking. We know you will love the taste and it is the purest and safest source of Omega-3 available.

Mmmm…popchips! You know I love them. What’s not to love? No artificial colors, flavors or anything really bad for you. Katy Perry apparently loves them too and recently partnered with popchips to create her own new flavor.
I usually don’t get crazy for Kettle Corn, as I like salty more than sweet, but let's just say, I tried Katy Perry's new Kettle Corn popchips, and I liked it!
They have the perfect blend of sweet and salty with all the popchips goodness. ... more »

Perhaps you have a vegetarian coming over for Thanksgiving this year. Seems every family has somebody nowadays that is not eating meat. Struggling over what to feed them? Well, I know that Thanksgiving is all about the Turkey but being a veggie myself, I can tell you that you don’t really need to do anything all that special for your vegetarian family or friends.
We wouldn’t want you to miss out on all of the delicious holiday beverages this year! After all, they only come around once. With Silk®’s healthy alternatives, we are able to indulge on all of them. We are so excited to have Silk® Nog Soymilk and Silk ®Mint Chocolate Soymilk in our Foodland stores! It is on Maikai for $3.99 for the 32 oz carton.
I finally got to try the Silk® Fruit & Protein drinks! But let me tell you, it wasn’t easy….
When I originally got samples of the three flavors, I organized a tasting within our office for a few people to try. I ended up getting called into a meeting and when I came out, the containers were all empty and I had nothing but glowing reviews.
Then, I went and bought one at Foodland Beretania and my niece polished it off before I ever got a chance at it!
Have you tried cooking with coconut oil yet?
It has become a staple in my house, but often when I tell people about this wonderful oil, I hear something to the effect of, “aren’t tropical oils bad for you?” I also heard a lot about coconut oil being high in saturated fat, which didn’t sound good either.
Anybody remember that Reese’s Peanut butter commercial (I might be dating myself here) where the guys are walking around the corner…one is eating chocolate and the other is eating peanut butter. They bump into each other and create a truly wonderful flavor combination. Well…it took a few decades but that winning combination of chocolate and peanut butter might have just got beat out by coconut and peanut butter! I just finished my first jar of Earth Balance Coconut and Peanut Spread ... more »
