One of the things I love at Foodland is that we really care about the food we sell. We pride ourselves on only selling food that we “would serve our own family and friends” and we really mean it. As a buyer I have to present new product lines to our quality control committee in a monthly meeting. It’s really kind of fun in that it is a show-and-tell format.

Last week I presented a few new lines that I am really excited about. I felt great in that everything passed in the meeting. Here’s a sneak peek at what will be coming to a Foodland near you soon:

C20 Coconut Water
I love coconut water but I am not a super fan of drinking out of those aseptic boxes that most of them come in. C2O comes in a can, it’s all-natural, and extremely refreshing. It has a very clean finish and the can stayed cold for a long time.

Plum Organics Baby Food
So long baby food jars! Baby food is moving into convenient pouches. There is a convenient spoon that screws on the end of the pouch…when you want to feed your baby you just squeeze the pouch and food comes through the spoon…its super simple and food is great. I had a few moms try the food with their babies and it was a hit. I tried it myself and was afraid somebody was going to come into my office whilst I was eating baby food…that would have been awkward.

Revolution Foods
From baby food we go into the new world of toddler food. Revolution Foods has cool new “Jammy Sammys” These are premade, individually wrapped, peanut butter and jelly sandwich bars. They are truly unique and make a great additional to the school lunch or snack. They come in a 5 pack box.
