Sweet & Juicy Locally Grown Lychee

With all the beautiful sunny weather we've had recently, our local lychee farmers have been sharing news that the sunny days have made for a good lychee season. We've worked with several Hawaii farms to bring you sweet and juicy lychee that is perfect to enjoy on these hot summer days.

Whether you like them served nice and cold, or even frozen, these sweet treats are both fragrant and refreshing. Peeling the unique shell off of these fruits is a little bit of a challenge, but the reward inside is well worth the wait.

This week, please visit any of our Foodland stores to pick up a bag of sweet and juicy locally grown Lychee for just $3.99 a pound, with prices good through June 26th, 2012.
