Job Description

Courtesy clerks assist in the quick and efficient checkout service of our customers by helping to unload grocery items onto checkstands, bagging groceries, and providing carry out service. They conduct price checks, take “return” products back to proper shelf locations, and help maintain store shelves by cleaning and fronting products. They also gather shopping carts from parking lots, sweep and mop floors, assist in the prompt clean up of spills and other general housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age.
High school education preferred (or concurrent enrollment in an educational institution) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to frequently lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
