Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy technicians are responsible to assist the Pharmacist and ensure that our customers have a positive experience at our stores. Technicians greet each customer, obtain information for new prescriptions presented in person, and assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints, while protecting their confidential health and drug information. They answer and route telephone calls, retrieve and file pharmacy prescriptions, and access, input and retrieve information from the computer. Pharmacy Technicians process insurance forms and verify payments and maintain the Pharmacy Department by filling Pharmacy supplies, dusting/facing, and wiping counter tops.
