Foodland's founder, the late Maurice J. "Sully" Sullivan was a dynamic and outstanding leader who gave unselfishly and generously to his community, state and nation. Since 1948, his philosophy of giving back to the community has touched many lives and made a difference in the quality of life for the people of Hawaii. Today, we continue his legacy by working to build strong partnerships between our company, our customers and our community. Foodland's Mission Statement, "Together, we create outstanding shopping experiences for our customers while building our community," was born from Sully's values. Every year Foodland presents four major and unique programs that support our community. The programs focus on supporting higher education for Hawaii's high school seniors, supporting our customers' favorite charitable causes by encouraging the spirit of giving in others and providing food to those in need in Hawaii.
Foodland directs the majority of our community support through the programs mentioned above. It is our hope that our efforts in these programs will touch many lives and assist a diverse set of needs within the community. Therefore, we do not fulfill individual requests for donations at this time. If you are a Hawaii non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status, you may participate in Give Aloha.
