|3||Pound||chicken thighs, boneless, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces|
| ||each||salt and pepper to taste|
|2||Cup||Aloha shoyu (Aloha is less salty)|
|1⁄2||Cup||chopped green onion|
- Combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens. Set aside.
- Take some of the cooled sauce and marinate the chicken.
- Combine flour and cornstarch. Season the flour mix with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour mix & deep fry.
- Toss in sauce and serve.
