Blueberry Peach Cobbler

A yummy dessert perfect to share during the holidays or on any occasion!

Ingredients  

  • Filling
  • 4 cups frozen peach slices
  • 0.5 unsalted butter
  • 4 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.75 cup Brown Sugar
  • Topping
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

Instructions 

Preheat oven to 375°.

Filling:

  1. Put the butter in a 3-quart baking dish. Place the dish in oven until butter is melted and dish is hot, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peaches, berries, cornstarch, cinnamon, and brown sugar; toss to combine.

Topping:

  1. Stir together remaining ingredients in bowl until dough forms. Do not over mix.
  2. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto fruit mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until fruit is bubbly and topping is deep golden brown and thoroughly baked.

Notes

Serve hot with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
