Ingredients
chicken |
| 3 | Pound | chicken thighs, boneless, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces |
| 1 1⁄2 | Cup | flour |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | cornstarch |
| | each | salt and pepper to taste |
Garlic sauce |
| 2 | Cup | Aloha shoyu (Aloha is less salty) |
| 2 | Cup | sugar |
| 1 | Cup | chopped garlic |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | chopped green onion |
| 2 | Tablespoon | sesame oil |
| 1 | Teaspoon | chili flakes |
Instructions
- Combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens. Set aside.
- Take some of the cooled sauce and marinate the chicken.
- Combine flour and cornstarch. Season the flour mix with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour mix & deep fry.
- Toss in sauce and serve.
