Kim Chee Fried Rice

Ingredients

1⁄4Cuppeanut oil
3Cupcooked white rice, day old or dried out uncovered in the fridge
2Teaspoongarlic, minced
1⁄2Cupkalbi, diced (or preferred meat)
1⁄2Cupkim chee, chopped
1⁄2Cupwatercress pieces, 1/2 inch
1⁄2Cupbean sprouts
3eacheggs, whisked and fried
2Tablespoonshoyu (dark preferred)
1Tablespoonsesame oil
1⁄2Cupgreen onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok.
  2. Toss in the rice until hot and golden.
  3. Toss in the garlic.
  4. Add in the kalbi, kim chee, watercress, beansprouts, fried egg.
  5. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Add in the shoyu and sesame oil.
  7. Finish with green onions.
