Ingredients

Mochiko Batter

4Tablespoonmochiko flour
4Tablespooncornstarch
4Tablespoonsugar
4Tablespoonshoyu
2Clovegarlic minced
1⁄2Teaspoongrated ginger
1Tablespoonsesame seeds
1⁄4Cupthinly sliced green onions
1⁄2TeaspoonSalt
2eacheggs beaten

Chicken Preparation

2Pounddeboned chicken thighs
 eachoil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite-size pieces (or slightly larger).
  2. In a bowl, mix together mochiko batter ingredients.
  3. Marinate chicken for 5 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
  4. Fry in hot oil (about 1 inch deep) until thoroughly cooked and golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serve hot or cold.
