Pipikaula Fried Rice
Fried rice made extra tasty by the addition of this Hawaiian dried beef
|3||Cup||cooked white rice, day old, dried out uncovered in the fridge|
|1⁄2||Cup||green onions, chopped|
|1⁄2||Cup||lup cheong, portuguese sausage or chorizo, diced|
|1 1⁄2||Teaspoon||soy sauce, dark preferred|
|Each||salt and pepper, to taste|
- Heat the oil in the wok.
- Toss in the rice until hot and golden.
- Toss in the green onions, pipikaula, shrimp and sausage.
- Stir in the peas, garlic, eggs, soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
