Ingredients

Filling

3eachGranny Smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into 1/2 inch slices
3eachWashington Delicious apples, peeled, cored, cut to 1/2 inch slices
3Tablespooncorn starch
1⁄2Cuplight brown sugar
1⁄2TeaspoonGround Cinnamon
1Tablespoonlemon juice

Topping

3⁄4Cupall-purpose flour
1⁄3Cuplight brown sugar
1⁄4TeaspoonSalt
6Tablespoonchilled butter, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1⁄4Cupcoarsely chopped walnuts

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Filling

  1. Mix all the ingredients together. Place into 7 to 8-ounce lightly buttered ramekins.

Topping

  1. Mix the flour, brown sugar, and salt in large bowl.
  2. Cut the butter into the mixture until it forms pea size lumps. Stir in pecans and sprinkle over filling.
  3. Bake crisps for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
  4. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with ice cream.
