3 poundschicken thighs, boneless, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 1⁄2 cupflour
2 cupsAloha shoyu (Aloha is less salty)
1 cupchopped garlic
1⁄2 cupchopped green onion
2 tablespoonssesame oil
1 teaspoonchili flakes
- Combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens. Set aside.
- Take some of the cooled sauce and marinate the chicken.
- Combine flour and cornstarch. Season the flour mix with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour mix & deep fry.
- Toss in sauce and serve.
