chicken thighs, boneless, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces 1 1⁄2 cup
flour 1⁄2 cup
cornstarch header
Garlic sauce 2 cups
Aloha shoyu (Aloha is less salty) 2 cups
sugar 1 cup
chopped garlic 1⁄2 cup
chopped green onion 2 tablespoons
sesame oil 1 teaspoon
chili flakesInstructions
- Combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens. Set aside.
- Take some of the cooled sauce and marinate the chicken.
- Combine flour and cornstarch. Season the flour mix with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour mix & deep fry.
- Toss in sauce and serve.
