Pan Seared Brussels Sprouts and Shaved Pipikaula

A hearty and flavorful side dish with some sweet Maika’i Honey Roasted Almond crunch.

Ingredients  

  • 1 cup Brussels Sprouts(sliced)
  • 0.25 cup Pipikaula(shaved)
  • 4 tablespoons Smoked Bacon(sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons Sweet Round Onions(sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons Maika’i Honey Roasted Almonds
  • 2 tablespoons Maika’i Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Instructions 

  1. Heat Maika’i Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat.
  2. Add Smoked Bacon, quickly sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add Brussels Sprouts and Pipikaula, sauté until golden brown.
  4. Add Sweet Onions, sauté until wilted.
  5. Place on a serving platter and garnish with Maika’i Honey Roasted Almonds.
